Adjusting to life with a new baby again...it's been a little bumpy at times but over all a success. We've all survived despite a few late nights and some head bumps, eye pokes, toys flung, pinches and arm twists from big brother Eddie.
I have to say that Will has been an easy baby overall. I tend to struggle when I get sleep deprived and things crumble from there but I'm trying to take it all in stride and remain prayerful. I'm often reminded of how easy life was with just 1...not having to juggle attention, time, energy for 2! I honestly don't know how my friends with 3,4,5 do it. More power to you!! Just wanted to take a moment to post a few pictures of our precious boys.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY EDDIE!

September 1 was Eddie's 2nd Birthday. It's so hard to believe that he's already 2 and he's looking so big to me now, especially since we have baby Will home. We kept Eddie's birthday pretty low key because of all the newness that we've been experiencing around here. We did venture to the zoo and finally got around to taking Eddie on the train ride there and swimming in the paws on kids area. Will was along for the ride as well and did really great...slept nearly the entire trip. The rest of the day was spent receiving lots of phone calls to wish him a happy day and several people were singing the happy birthday song to him which he grew to really like. He was singing it when he went to bed and again when he woke in the morning. SO CUTE!
Eddie is adjusting pretty well to his new baby brother. We've had a few issues with him being rough, etc. and waking more at night but we're not complaining too much. It was all expected.
Will is doing great, we barely know he's here right now. He doesn't peep much and is great with all the noise Eddie makes. He is sleeping like crazy...a little more during the day than at night which I hope will readjust soon. He had his first Dr. appt. Monday and everything looks great. He had a clogged tear duct but it's all clearing up now.
I love our family and how it's growing and look forward to what the future holds for us!

1 1/2 weeks...counting down!

Although I've been counting down from nearly the beginning it's weird to say that there is only 1.5 weeks to go until William is born. I'm anxious to meet him, see how he is, make sure he's healthy, discover his personality and be beyond these unknowns. I'm nervous about how I will juggle my time, affection and love for the 3 guys in my life...John, Eddie & now Will. Do I have enough time, energy and love in me for that?? I know I had similar questions when I was ready to have Eddie and my heart has only gotten bigger with more love to give but once again it's difficult to imagine that it's possible.
Please keep us in your prayers because I'm a big believer that God hears them!

"Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice." Psalm 55:17

Kids Rooms

I just realized that I've yet to post pictures of the new baby room & Eddie's room. The main thing left to do is hang a large chalkboard on one of Eddie's walls. I'm in the the process of painting it so it should be up by the end of the week. Eddie has done so great transitioning into his new room and really seems to like it. Time is flying by and can't believe that we only have about 3 weeks to go until the next little man enters our lives. He is moving like crazy especially at night when I sit down to relax. I can sit and watch my entire stomach shift from side to side like an alien is ready to errupt at any moment. I don't recall Eddie moving quite SO MUCH or so strong...it will be interesting to discover this new guys personality!

Visiting the Reinhold's in NY!

Our trip to the lake house in NY to visit John's parents was alot of fun. Nearly 2 weeks of mostly relaxation, lots of visiting, boating, a trip to Niagra on the Lake for a date day for John & I and so much more. There was alot up there to entertain Eddie..among his favorites were riding on the golf-cart to visit all the neighbors, hanging out in the jacuzzi on the porch, first experience in a boat, and hanging out with his Oma & Opa. Here's a little slideshow to share some of the fun.
Now that we're home only 3 1/2 weeks to go until baby "Will" arrives. Working hard to get things all situated before then. Lots to do, lots to do!

All The Latest

Taking a step back a few weeks, while Eddie & I traveled up to Indiana to visit family John made a long to-do list (with a couple of things added by me)and for those of you who know John know that he was able to check off the majority of things on that list. The biggest of those tasks was renting a tow-boom to trim all of our 60 trees and as if that wasn't enough he also trimmed much of 3 of our neighbors yards. He estimated the amount of work he did in our yard to be over $1000 and the work he did for neighbors,w/ the rental of the equipment ended up paying for itself plus making a little cash. He was also able to finish up the painting details in Eddie's room, paint the shed we recently acquired, reorganize my kitchen cabinets, paint some new furniture we bought for our living room, etc.!!! He's amazing and I seriously don't know where he gets his energy.
Since we've been home we've still been busy, busy but trying to have some fun in between. I'm near completion of Eddie's room and the babies room including closets, drawers, etc. I'm really happy with how they've come out and as promised before I will post once I completely finish.
I remember making a checklist a month or two ago with things I wanted to complete before our new little one comes. I've been able to check off a few of those items such as, trasitioning Eddie into his "big boy" bed which I have to say I AM SO PROUD OF HIM!! He doesn't try to get out of bed until we come in to get him and it's just been so easy...don't know why I waited so long. I've been taking him swimming regularly which was one thing on my to-do list. He's getting the hang of things but still needs a hand to support him in the water. He can put his face in/ blow bubbles, go under briefly without swollowing the water, kick his feet and use his arms to get where he wants to go. He's yet to be potty trained and is still attached to his "paci", however, not quite as much.
This past week I celebrated my 31st birthday which was low key and rather relaxing which I'm enjoying these days. Only 7 weeks to go until we get to meet our 2nd little guy, William Von Reinhold..."Will". The more I check off of my list the more I feel anxious to meet him and welcome him to our little family. We'll keep you posted on the progress there.
This weekend we leave for a final vacation before the summer's end. We head to NY for a relaxing visit w/ John's parents.
For this post I'll add a couple of before and after pictures of the shed that John labored so hard on...quite the transformation, I'd say.
